YSR Congress leader Gone Prakash Rao here on Thursday alleged that Rajamuhndry MP Undavalli Arun Kumar was criticizing Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to get Rajya Sabha seat.
Speaking to the media here, Prakash Rao said all charges levelled by Undavalli against YS Jaganmohan Reddy at Rajamuhndry meeting were not true. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had given an opportunity to Undavalli, who cannot even win as ward counselor, to contest from a Lok Sabha seat, he reminded.
Gone said Arun Kumar exhibited his innocence on the Constitution with his comments on Telangana issue. There was no need for Assembly resolution for bifurcation of the State. The Centre has powers to set up a new State even through all the 294 MLAs of Andhra Pradesh opposed it, he added. (NSS)
