S Chittibabu of Srikakulam topped the Village Revenue Officers examination with 93 marks in the results announced here on Monday.
Releasing the results of VRO/VRA examinations at the Secretariat, Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy said that D Veerababu from Nalgonda district stood second in the VRO examination with 92 marks. The candidates can view their results by visiting the website www.jntucgg.nic.in.
Apart from 11 websites, he said that the land administration department has made arrangements to send the results of candidates directly to their mobile phones through SMS.
Chief Commissioner of Land Administration J Satyanarayana said that the District collectors would announce general merit list of candidates on March 15 at Collector’s offices. He said the verification of qualified candidates’ certificates would be conducted from March 22-26 and counseling would be taken up on March 30. He said that selected candidates would undergo training from April 9-23.
Satyanaryana said that the results in five districts – Warangal, Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar, Adilabad and Nellore have been with held following the by-elections. More than 11 lakh candidates competed for 6,069 VRO posts across the state. (INN)
