UP voters will not be influenced by SP family drama: Amit Shah

Vasco(Goa) [India]: Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) president Amit Shah on Monday slammed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, saying the ongoing family drama will not divert the voters attention from the scams and deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

“Akhilesh Yadav is thinking that the people will forget all this in lieu of the family drama that has been happening. I want to tell him that the family drama will not hide any wrong doing of the government and the BJP will emerge as the winner,” he said.

Shah took potshots at law and order condition of Uttar Pradesh by calling it as ‘gundaraj’.

“The UP government was involved in many scandals in their rule. The law and order condition in the state is pathetic. Women are unsafe and the farmers are getting poorer day by day. There is ‘gundaraj’,” he added.

In a bid to woo the voters, Shah gave examples of how India has developed and progressed under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

“Prime Minister Modi has taken the nation way ahead in terms of development. We have given such a government to the nation that nobody in the whole world can accuse us of corruption,” Shah said.
