Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya today appealed to the people in Greater Hyderabad to vote for BJP-TDP combine candidates in the February 2 GHMC elections.
Speaking to mediapersons here today, Dattatraya felt there would be a threat to peace and tranquility in the metropolitan city if the peace-loving citizens opted to vote for the MIM and TRS candidates. He exuded confidence that the BJP-TDP combine would emerge as a single largest party in the GHMC elections.
Taking a dig at the TRS government’s double bedroom scheme, the Union minister asked from where the State government would get money for construction of one lakh DBR houses. Stating that Rs seven lakh crore would be needed for construction of one lakh double bedroom houses, he said nothing will be possible without the assistance of the Union government.
Dattatreya today participated in election campaigning in Goshamahal and Gudimalkapur divisions. (NSS)
