Lucknow: Lucknow Apple Executive Vivek Tiwari was allegedly murdered revealed SIT after taking over the case two and half months later.
The SIT headed by IG (Lucknow range) Sujeet Pandey has found constables Prashant Chaudhary and Sandeep Rana guilty of intentionally murdering the 38-year-old Apple executive along with hurting his colleague Sana Khan in September.
The two constables intercepted Tiwari’s car near maqdoompur Police post when he was on his way to drop Sana after attending the launch event of a new phone.
The reports state, constable Rana got down from the vehicle and poked Sana with a ‘lathi’ while Chaudhary took out his service pistol and fired a bullet at Tiwari killing him and fled the crime scene.
The two constables, later on, informed the SHO Gomtinagar that a car reportedly hit their vehicle.
The SIT report says the entire incident was carried out in 38 seconds and that action should be taken against ASP (Gomtinagar) and SHO (Gomtinagar) for not following the procedures.
