As part of its move to make Hyderabad a global city, the Telangana government has allowed hotels, restaurants and eateries to operate up to midnight (12 am). But the ongoing ‘Numaish’ in the city has to wind up its operations by 11 pm. This has disappointed the citizens. Stall holders also feel that if the timings are extended business activities will step up.
If the ‘Numaish’ timings are extended upto midnight (12) it will not only facilitate citizens but also there won’t be traffic disruption. Usually the visitors of the ‘Numaish’ arrive at the exhibition at around 8:30 to 9:00 pm after finishing off their official engagements. If the ‘Numaish’ will remain open till 12 midnight it will be convenient for them too.
