Virginia: Man wrongly dials number, ends in Jail

Fairfax: A blunder by a man landed him in jail after he reportedly messaged a Police officer on charges of offering to sell marijuana in Northern Virginia.

The mistake is similar to a Cheech and Chong skit where a drug distributor dialed a wrong number and sent a text offering to sell marijuana to one of the Police officers working with the Fairfax County Police, AP reported.

On receiving the text from the distributor, Narcotics detectives scheduled a meeting with the man and arrested him red-handed in possession of one pound of marijuana.

Another two or more pounds of marijuana was seized by the officers after they conducted raids at the man’s home.

The man was arrested and charged with intent to distribute drugs by the Fairfax County Police.
