Kohli went past former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq and now holds the record for scoring the most runs as a captain from Asia. The India captain surpassed former Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq’s total runs.
Misbah-ul-Haq has scored 4212 runs with the help of eight centuries in 56 matches during his period of time as a Pakistan skipper, at an average of 51.39, Virat Kohli took 42 matches to get past Misbah’s record. As of now Virat has made 4233 runs at an average of 65.12. He made 17 centuries as captain.
