(Siasat News) Founder of Tehrik-e-Ghalba-e-Islam, Mr. Viquar Ahmed and his aide Mr. Syed Suleman alias Amjad were produced in court yesterday. Gujarat police had arrested him six years back in shooting case of police constable. He was kept in Sabarmati jail of Ahmedabad. He was produced before VIIth Additional Metropolitan Magistrate in connection with two cases. He had injured Ramargiri, constable of counter intelligence by shooting with his revolver at STD Booth near Santoshnagar crossroads on 8th December 2008. On 18th May 2009. He had also shot dead Home Guard K. Balaswamy in Nagul Chinta area of Falaknuma. His companion, T. Reajender, Constable was seriously injured in the firing.
Counter intelligence wing of Hyderabad city police arrested him and conducted investigation. Charge sheet was also filed against them. The judge has decided to start hearing the case against Viquar Ahmed and his companions Amjad, Dr. Haneef, Zakir and Sayeed.
Gujarat police team shifted Viquar Ahmed for Ahmedabad to Hyderabad under tight security. After presenting him in Hyderabad in court, he went back to Ahmedabad. Gujarat police has registered a case against him alleging him for hatching conspiracy to kill Mr. Narender Modi, C.M. of Gujarat.
