The death toll in Viqarabad blast mounted to five on Sunday.
According to police, 21-year-old woman Ameena Begum died of injuries that she suffered due to the blast at Rajiv Gruhakalpa Colony on Friday. She was undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital. Two more children – Saicharan (7) AND Iliyas (9) succumbed to burn injuries on Saturday at Gandhi Hospital.
Meanwhile, the investigation agencies have intensified the efforts to solve the mystery behind the blasts. Besides the local police, a team of National Investigation Agency has also visited the blast site. (INN)
