Baghdad, February 15: Three people have been killed and seven others wounded in the latest terrorist attacks in the capital city of Baghdad and northern Iraq.
On Sunday, unidentified gunmen opened fire on two civilians who were travelling on a motorbike in Kirkuk, killing one and seriously wounding the other, police said.
In a separate incident on the same day in Sadr City, a densely populated district of Baghdad, an explosion at a cafe killed one civilian and wounded six others, according to Interior Ministry sources.
In another incident also on Sunday, a Christian was killed in a drive-by shooting in front of his house in the northern city of Mosul.
Iraq has been witnessing violence ever since the US invaded the oil-rich country under the pretext of finding weapons of mass destruction in March 2003.
