Former Indian batsman Vinod Kambli has been admitted to city’s Lilavati Hospital following a heart attack, unconfirmed media reports suggest.
The left-hander, who played a major chunk for his school cricket with batting great Sachin Tendulkar, was recently is news for missing Sachin’s farewell bash in Mumbai.
Kambli, 42-year-old, underwent angioplasty on two of his blocked arteries at the same hospital in July 2012.
Southpaw Kambli played 17 Tests and 104 ODIs for India.
