Vincent’s fiancee says unlikely ex-player ‘would be able to comment’ after fixing allegations

Former New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent was reportedly nowhere to be found following his spot fixing revelations that led the International Cricket Council to conduct a slew of investigations across the world.

Vincent had told the ICC’s anti-corruption unit about his involvement in, or knowledge of, spot-fixing across five or more countries between 2008-2012.

According to Stuff.co.nz, Vincent’s fiancee Suzie said that the disgraced player, who told investigators of fixing when he played for the Auckland Aces in the Twenty20 Champions League tournament in South Africa in October 2012, was not home and given the maelstrom he was in the middle of, it was unlikely he would be able to comment.

Vincent also told the investigators he had also fixed Aces games in New Zealand’s domestic Twenty20 competition. (ANI)
