Endowment Minister Indrakaran Reddy today said the State government will give monetary encouragement to the villages that successfully take up sapling of plantations as part of Harithaharam program.
Speaking at an awareness program on Harithaharam at Dilavarpur in Adilabad district, the minister said the massive afforestation will help attract rains for better yield of crops. He said he would take up the issue with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for providing monetary benefits to the villages that set records by planting saplings.(NSS)
