Villagers of Anasagaram in Nandigama mandal of Krishna district thrashed a school teacher for his alleged misbehavior with girl students. Maddineni Nageswara Rao, mathematics teacher at the Zilla Parishad high school at Anasagaram, was said to have been teasing and abusing girl students for a long time. Recently he marked all absent when they went to attend sports competitions. Again he abused some girls of Class 10th on which the girls refused to attend school until Rao’s suspension. On questioning him the teacher denied their accusation. Then the villagers lost their cool and thrashed him badly.
