Village cordoned off to flush out ultras hiding there

Srinagar, January 11: Security forces cordoned off a village in Pulwama district of South Kashmir this evening following information that two Hizbul Mujahideen militants were hiding there, official sources said.

Police, assisted by the army, cordoned off the village Abhama-Keller, 60 kms from here to flush out the militants hiding in a house there, the sources said.

Security forces had fired five shots but there was no response from the militants so far.
