Vikas Tarangini, a social service organization founded by Sri Sri Sri Thridandi Srimmanarayana China Jeeyar Swamy donated Rs.10 lakhs to the AP Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for taking up relief and rehabilitation measures in the Cyclone Hudhud affected area in north-coastal districts of AP State.
This was disclosed to the media by H.H.Ahobila Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy on Tuesaday who said that the students of veda and agama schools established by Sri Sri China Jeeyar Swamy had also pledged to donate the money intended for bursting crackers on Deewali festival for the cause of cyclone relief.
H.H.Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy also disclosed that on the advice of Sri Sri China Jeeyar Swamy the members of Vikas Tarangirti apart from making cash contributions for the cyclone affected people were also engaged in various relief operations in the affected areas. He appealed to the people of Telangana as well as AP States come forward and make generous donations for taking up relief and rehabilitation works in the cyclone raved areas.
