Hyderabad, January 07: TRS leader and Medak MP Vijayashanti has demanded that the Central Government announce a time-bound programme for formation of Telangana State which is a long-cherished desire of Telangana people.
Speaking to reporters here today she took strong objection to government’s attitude and said the government should not delay things by appointing a committee for holding consultations with representatives from various sections. “All political parties stated their views at yesterday’s meeting convened by the Union home ministry in Delhi. This apart, people in the entire Telangana are demanding a separate Telangana State. This is enough to bifurcate the State.’’
