Vietnamese delegation lauds Referral Transport Scheme

Gurgaon, December 18: The Referral Transport Scheme was today lauded by the Vietnamese delegation, which visited Gurgaon.

The 13-member Vietnamese delegation under Truong Thi Mai, Chairperson of Social Health and Labour Parliamentary Committee of Republic of Vietnam visited here to see the healthcare facilities being provided by the state Government in rural as well as urban areas.

The delegation included nine MPs, 3 staff members and a student. First they visited delivery hut in village Jharsa and afterwards saw Primary Health Centre in village Badshahpur.

The delegation members were told by civil surgeon Dr SS Dalal about referral transport scheme that a person in need can just dial on phone number 102 and the ambulance located near to the desired site would reach immediately.
