Mrs. Vidyavati is presently working as Headmistress of Sultan Bazar Urdu Medium Girls School. The school was established in 1950. Speaking to Siasat correspondent Vidyavati told that her father Bajrang Prasad was a teacher in Urdu Medium School and was a great poet. His pen name was ‘Shaheen’. Vidyavati revealed that since her father was an Urdu lover he admitted her and her sister in Urdu medium school.
Vidyavati studied from 1st to 10th from City High School Urdu Medium Kotla Alijah. Later she completed TTC and B.Ed. Luckily she got government job during the training itself. She says that almost all her friends are Muslims and hence her way of living is like Muslim women. She has been reading Siasat since her childhood and continues still today.
Mrs. Vidyavati not only busy in nurturing Urdu language. She conducts special classes for SSC students so that the students get good marks in the exam.
