Known for her desi look, Vidya is a self-confessed addict of the nine yard wonder. “I love saris. It is the most beautiful outfit for an Indian woman. It characterises a woman’s personality. No matter what the size, shape and weight, a woman looks most beautiful in a sari. It displays a woman’s sensuality and charm. I love to be in sari and that’s why it is my chosen attire for most of my films.”
According to Sanskriti Media and Entertainment, Vidya is known for her penchant of living the character she is playing. “As an actor, I have no limitation. I can play any character because I go deep inside the character. When I play a character I understand it and live her life.
So much so that often I tend to forget the real me, which is a bad thing because I’ve fallen ill doing so. I still have to learn how to get out from the character,” says the actor who within no time becomes Silk – the character Vidya admits of living these days.
