Mumbai, June 14:Vidya Balan had no qualms locking lips with R Madhavan in Guru. Hence, the reports that she had refused to kiss Arshad Warsi and stormed off thesets of Ishqiya were surprising.
Contrary to rumours that Vidya was averse to an intimate scene in producer Vishal Bharadwaj’s film (directed by Abhishek Chaubey), the truth is that Vidya kissed Arshad very comfortably.
Our source from the Ishqiya set said, “It was surprising to read that Vidya refused a liplock with Arshad. The scene in question is very long and intimate, where a hot kiss was very essential to set the tempo. Both Vidya and Arshad were a bit nervous before the scene, but nothing untoward happened.”
Vidya’s kissing spree continues after Guru. There is no question of inhibitions, according to our source. “Vidya absolutely knew what she was doing. This is not the first time she has kissed on screen. She had kissed R Madhavan in Mani Ratnam’s Guru. She had no problems this time either,” our source added.
Vidya admits that she has kissed Arshad in Ishqiya. She said, “Why wouldn’t I do that scene when the bound script which was given to me before the film went on the floors? I had no issues
