New Delhi [India]: For actress Vidya Balan, Holi reminds her of a childhood memory of having bhang and bearing its side effects.
“(My best memory is) Having bhang without knowing it was bhang and then laughing all day. This was I think when I was 16,” recounted the 38-year-old.
The ‘Kahaani’ star, who loves gorging on Imarti, absolutely loves the festival but makes sure to be extremely careful of the quality of colours used as it can adversely affect hair and skin.
“The only way that I escape from the after effects of the Holi is by massaging good amount of coconut oil on my hair and skin before I step out to play. This has been my saviour since childhood.”
The National Award winning actress loves ‘Rang barse’ as the quintessential Holi song.
“My favourite Holi song would be definitely “Rang Barse Bhige Chunarwali, Rang Barse”. When you think of Holi, you think of that song!” (ANI)
