HYDERABAD: Communalism and discrimination in the country are at its peak. Attempts are being made to break the society on the basis of religion and caste.
There are some elements who are tarnishing the fabric of unanimity and harmony among various sects by provoking people against each another. And frequent attacks on Dalits, Muslims and Christians in the past few years is one such example.
Meanwhile, a new initiative called ‘MERE GHAR AAKE TO DEKHO’ (Visit My Home, Be My Guest), has been started by prominent social activists under the patronage of Shabnam Hashmi.
And people from all walks of lives are taking part in this simple campaign to break the socially constructed barriers.
A team of Shiva Rani, Satya and Kranti Kiran of Secunderabad too visited the house of Ghousia Begum. Ms. Ghousia used work in a garden. She appeal to maintain peace and brotherhood among each other.
The team had tea at her home and also spend some time to understand each other.
She hosted them with high trust and affection by saying ‘Mere Ghar Aake To Dekho’.
