ARAU: TV evangelist Zakir Naik’s detailed explanation on Islam has prompted one more Indian Hindu to take a leap of faith.
R.A. Shivaleela reverted to Islam by reciting Shahada (declaration of faith) after she was satisfied with Dr Naik’s lecture at a religious talk at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP).

In the video from 1:10 to 1:32, the 40-year-old PhD pursuing student made the decision when she was satisfied with the explanation by the preacher.
After her conversion, she told the media that she had done research on Islam by reading books and watching videos on YouTube.
“I am very impressed and satisfied with Dr Zakir’s explanation about the existence of Allah,” clarifying that she wasn’t forced by anyone and became Muslim by her own choice.
Around 1,000 people who attended Dr Zakir Naik’s religious talk on Friday witnessed her declaration.

The founder of Islamic Research Foundation and Peace TV, Naik had been under scanner after one of the Bangladesh attackers on a cafe Dhaka that killed 20 people revealed to be his follower.
