Noida: A seven-year-old student of 2nd Class died after a Karate session in school. She received head injuries allegedly during a karate session.

On Tuesday, a girl, Gazhal Yadav of DPS World School in Noida Extension was taken by the school to a private hospital after she allegedly received a head injury. Later, she died during the treatment.

According to her father, Lal Chand Yadav, school teacher informed him on the phone that his daughter had a headache and should be taken home.

According to the news published in TOI, Lal Chand Yadav said, “After half-an-hour, I received another call. The school informed me that Gazhal was bleeding from the nose and she was being admitted in Kailash Hospital”. When Lal Chand Yadav rushed to the hospital, he found Gazhal in the ICU.

It is also reported that Lal Chand Yadav said, “My daughter’s face had blood stains. She was also bleeding from the nose and mouth. The doctors said she was no more”.

Spokesperson of Kailash Hospital claimed that the girl was admitted in very critical condition.

The last rites of the Gazhal were performed without an autopsy being conducted. Talking on this, Yadav said, “We did not want a postmortem on our dear child. We loved her a lot”.

Sujata Singh, SP (rural), Gautam Budh Nagar, said that the school management have not been contacted and will question them after school reopens.
