Hyderabad: Asaduddin Owaisi, Chief of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) talking on surgical strike by Indian Army said that one such attack is not enough to end terrorism. He also said that Army is to be lauded for the surgical strikes.
Speaking at Aaj Tak’s special programme, Owaisi said that even after surgical strike, terror attacks are continuously happening, thus one surgical strike is not enough.
Recalling the 26/11 Mumbai attack, he said that India is not learning anything from the terror attacks.
Attacking the BJP Government, he said that government is only trying to save Sadhvi Prachi, 2008 Malegaon blast accused.
Satpal Singh, BJP leader who also participated in the discussion said that although, nothing can be changed with just one surgical strike but this surgical strike conveyed a strong message. Singh also delink terrorism with religion.
Meanwhile, another participant of the discussion, Arvind Sawant, Shiv Sena leader said that surgical strikes should not be debated.
