Hyderabad, August 14: (Siasat News): With the sighting of the crescent moon of the holy month of Ramadan, most of the Muslims from Hyderabad gather together to break their day-long fast at Historical Makkah Masjid in Hyderabad.
During the holy month of Ramadan, mosques open their doors before Maghrib prayers to organize free Iftar meals for the poor that have been taken by most of the fasting people.
The local businessmen and workers leverage fruits and other eataries inside the grand Makkah Masjid unites and have iftar toghether.
Large numbers of people break their fast at the mosque every day, and in order to keep the place in which they pray in good condition, they serve the food in the open area in front of the mosque and clean it after people have finished eating.
In Ramadan, Muslims around the world give up food, drink and all sensual pleasures, but it does not mean that food is the main thing about fasting. Muslims believe they can learn more about discipline and working together during the holy month.
