Abu Dhabi: Huge fire engulfed a building on the Airport road in Abu Dhabi. Airport road has been blocked from Delma street junction to Al Wahda mall junction.
According to the news published in Khaleej Times, the fire started from Rukn Al Sultan restaurant next to Akai building.
Civil Defense Forces evacuated the residents of the building. All residents were rescued with no causalities or injuries.

According to the eyewitnesses, burning aluminum boards were seen falling on cars parked under the building.
It is also reported that, Aneesha, an Indian resident, staying on the fourth floor of the building said that when she saw thick smoke, she ran for her life.
Residents of the building are waiting for the further instructions from the concern authorities on whether they can go in or not.
