Video: Flood hits Saudi Arabia – Hundreds rescued, more rainfall expected

ABHA:  Saudi authorities have reported that hundreds are rescued by rescue teams after floods hit Saudi Arabia’s Asir region.

According to the news published in Arab News, speaking on this, authorities said that one person died and ten others injured. Rescue teams rescued more than 280 people.

Speaking on this, Civil Defense authorities said that rescue teams in Abha city saved several people after their cars were submerged in water.

Flood caused inconveniences and disturbed the daily routine of the residents. Many schools were also closed.

According to the reports, heavy rain is expected to continue until Friday. Several regions in Saudi Arabia have been affected by regional weather changes.
