Video: Burqa-clad woman allegedly raped by GRP personnel in a moving train in UP

BIJNOR: A woman belongs to the minority community was allegedly rape by Government Railway Police (GRP) a personnel inside a moving train.

In her complaint, the 25-year-old burqa-clad woman, who hailed from Meerut, said that she boarded the Lucknow- Chandigarh train from Chandpur railway station for here and sat in the general compartment.

The woman said the accused Constable Kamal Shukla (24), who were present in her compartment advised her to shift to another compartment reserved for disabled passengers after she felt uncomfortable due to her illness.

There he forced few passengers inside the disabled coach to leave forcefully raped her after threatening to take her life before committing the heinous crime, the woman alleged in her complaint.

Some passengers at Bijnor station when found the disabled passengers coach locked, they forcibly open it and found the woman in unconscious state. They created ruckus and catch hold of the accused and thrash him before handing over him to the railway police. The passengers demanded strict action against the accused.

A case against Shukla under Sections 376 (rape) and 506-A (criminal intimidation) of the IPC has been registered and probe is on.

The GRP, under the state government, is tasked with the maintenance of law and order and ensuring passenger safety on board trains and on railways property.

The accused in the below video is seen comfortably having lunch after the heinous act.
