Video: Baby with oxygen denied stretcher at Hyderabad Hospital

HYDERABAD: In yet another shocking incident of apathy, a child was carried around with her oxygen support as the management at the state-run Niloufer hospital allegedly not provided a stretcher to the baby.

The incident took place on Wednesday night.

In videos that gone viral on social media, a sick child in a semi-conscious state is being carried in arms with IV drip to the ESROP room by her father whereas another person dragging the oxygen tank with tubes.

The Times of India reported that the girl was being shifted from the new building to the old building of the hospital. The relatives was left in the lurch as adequate stretchers were not available for patients.

Another video that has surfaced shows the same people shifting the child, with the same set up.

These videos have surfaced only a month after five mothers died while undergoing C-section surgeries at the Niloufer hospital in a single week between January 28 and February 4.
