Video: 14 year old ‘Dalit’ tied, beaten and urinated by 8 men

Aligarh: Though the caste-based discrimination, untouchability was abolished by the Constitution of Indian, making the atrocities against the lower caste, a crime, the practice still continues in the nation.

Just a day after former UP Minister and BSP Party head Mayawati resigned from Rajya Sabha, an outrageous video of a 14-yr-old Dalit boy being stripped, assaulted and abused has surfaced on social media.

The incident took place in Pikana area, 55 km’s from the Aligarh District, where a 14-yr-old minor boy was tied to a stick and stripped off his clothes and abused for being a Dalit, near his house.

According to the victim, the eight known accused, forcibly tied his hands to a stick and started abusing him. They later stripped his trousers. The father of the victim states that the humiliation has disturbed his son.

Speaking to the media, the victim’s father said, “I do not understand why they beat and humiliated him in this manner. My son, who was also abused by them, is now in depression”.

The video shows the boy pleading the four assailants to let him go but is mercilessly abused and taunted.

The victim and his father alleged that at first, the Police refused to file a FIR against the assailants, but on protesting, the Police later registered a case against the four accused under sections 377 (unnatural intercourse), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 511 (attempting to commit offences punishable with imprisonment for life or other imprisonment) of the IPC.

So far, only one accused Neeraj Kumar has been arrested.

The victim speaking about the painful incident said, “I repeatedly requested them to let me go but they repeatedly thrashed me. They also attempted to rape me and prior letting me free they urinated on me” and the victim also added that, “Throughout the incident they abused me and kept calling me a dalit. One of the boys was recording the incident in his mobile phone.”

The SSP speaking about the incident said, “They knew each other. One amongst them came up with idea to shoot the incident. They have been booked. One of the arrested is adult while others are minor”.

However , Rajesh Pandey, Senior Superintendent of Police, Aligarh told the media that all the four accused have been arrested.
