Karwan-e-Mohabbat a journey of atonement and love, a journey of reconciliation and justice, set out from Nagaon in Assam on September 4, 2017, and concluded its travels on October 2, 2017, in Porbandar. Karwan-e-Mohabbat visited the families of the victims killed in police fake encounters or gau rakshaks and police in Haryana.
In this video the victims of lynching and fake police encounter share their experiences.
During its travels, the Karwan bore witness to such intense and pervasive suffering and fear fashioned by hate violence, and such extensive state hostility to its most vulnerable citizens.
The brain child of former IAS officer, writer and activist Harsh Mander, this peace-building movement has attracted and caught the attention of ordinary women and men who worry about what lies ahead for future generations.
