According to a press note issued by All India Muslim Front, the conference organized by victimized husbands is producing positive results. All those husbands who were victimized under section 498(A) of Indian Penal Code unanimously passed a resolution demanding the Govt. to cancel this clause or it should be made bailable.
A second meeting is being organized at 10:30 am. on Saturday, 5th May at Urdu Ghar, Moghalpura under the chairmanship of Mr. Osman Shaheed, Advocate. Mr. Ghulam Mohammed, General Secretary, All India Muslim Front, has appealed to all the victimized husbands, old parents, sisters and brothers to participate in the conference in large numbers so that an effective representation could be made to Law Commission and Central Govt. by going to New Delhi to present a memorandum in this regard.
