Dhar (MP), February 12: Vice President Hamid Ansari today described the historic Mandu city near here as much more beautiful than what he had read about it in the books.
“Mandu is more beautiful than what I have read about this historic city in the books during my childhood,” Ansari, who was here on a day-long visit along with his wife Salma, told reporters.
The Vice President specially praised the natural beauty of the city and said he would like to come again to the place to enjoy its monuments.
Ansari visited Jahazmahal, Hindola Mahal and Rani Roopmati Mahal and was impressed by their ancient architecture.
The VIP-couple spent nearly four hours here.
Madhya Pradesh General Administration Minister K L Agrawal welcomed the Vice President on his arrival here.
