Vice President arrives in City

Hyderabad: Vice President Hamid Ansari today arrived here for a two-day tour in the State.
Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, City Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, cabinet ministers, Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma, MPs, MLAs and MLCs received the Vice-President at Begumpet Airport here.
The Governor and the Chief Minister welcomed the Vice President with bouquets while the police personnel honored him with a traditional salute. KCR introduced the Mayor and cabinet colleagues to Hamid Ansari, who is to take part in a few programs in the city.
From the Airport, the Vice President drove straight to the RTC Kalyana Mandap to attend a national workshop on agriculture. MPs K Keshav Rao, V Hanumatha Rao, Malla Reddy and others were also present. (NSS)
