Questioning Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan as to why he kept quiet all these days and why he was raising his voice now, the Congress party senior leader V Hanumantha Rao alleged that Pawan Kalyan was speaking again because his films failed at box office.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, VHR asked Pawan whether the latter didn’t know as to what Congress party did in regard to special status to the Andhra Pradesh state. He questioned Pawan, who was speaking on social justice, as to why he was not extended his support to Kapu movement. “What Pawan has done when Mudragada Padmanabham resorted to Kapu movement”, he asked and said that Pawan Kalyan’s activities will suppress the Kapu movement.
Suggesting Pawan Kalyan not to take up half- hearted activities while continuing in films, VH said that people won’t believe in him if he speaks about politics when his films failed at box office. He warned Pawan saying that he will not keep quiet if the latter speaks about Congress party and advised Pawan to go to Delhi and try for special status for Andhra Pradesh state as the latter had good relations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
