Condemning the remarks of former advisor to government K V P Ramchander Rao against the party for not using YSR’s picture on the banners hung at the Prakasham Hall recently, Rajya Sabha Member V Hanmantha Rao alleged that KVP
was a ‘covert’ of YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy.
Talking to the media persons at his residence on Thursday, Hanmantha Rao pointed out that KVP did not utter a word when YSRC leaders accused Congress president Sonia Gandhi of plotting to kill YSR and now he was making hue and cry for not using a picture of former chief minister in the oath taking ceremony of new AP Youth Congress
Team. It exposes the KVP’s real face, he said.
Hanmantha Rao asked as to why KVP did not clarify that YSR’s death was an accident. KVP also did not counter the allegations leveled by the family members stating that YSR’s death was a planned murder. His behaviour clearly shows that he is trying to damage the Congress party, he alleged.
The Rajya Sabha Member demanded the investigation to KVP’s role in Call Data Recorder case in which his relative Raghurama Raju is the main accused. Stating that, TDP President Chandrababu Naidu was moving ahead with strengthening
his party by facing every difficult situation and Congress leaders are busy with infightings in the party, Hanmantha Rao warned that opposition could exploit the situation and would benefit from the same. (INN)
