Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP V. Hanumantha Rao has condemned Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao for criticising Congress party.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, VHR said although everyone has a right to campaign for his party, KTR has been resorting to baseless criticism against the Congress party. He said it was Congress President Sonia Gandhi who granted statehood for Telangana. He said KTR would have stayed in the US if Sonia Gandhi would not have given Telangana State. He said instead of being thankful to Sonia Gandhi, KTR has been targeting the Congress party.
VHR also ridiculed KTR’s claim that TRS was contesting the GHMC elections along. He said that the ruling party was having an open alliance with the MIM and it has been issuing statements to mislead the voters. He said that the TRS would meet the same fate as of BJP in Delhi and Bihar elections. (INN)
