VHR advises Jana Reddy to stay on post

Rajya Sabha MP V. Hanumantha Rao has advised Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy not to quit his post in view of recent defections.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, VHR said Jana Reddy was both experienced and loyal to Congress party. He said that the party needs senior leaders at the time of crisis and therefore, Jana Reddy should continue on the post to strengthen the party in Telangana State. He said that only a few leaders were joining the TRS while the Congress cadre was still loyal to the party. He said some senior leaders who were feeling insecure were leaving the Congress party. But the young generation was supporting the Congress at all levels and it would ensure the return of Congress to power in next general elections.

VHR also asked Gutha to explain the achievements of TRS Government which impressed him to join the ruling party. He said that the TRS Government did not fulfil a single promise it made with the people during elections. (INN)
