VHP recruits volunteers to wage war against ‘love jihad’ in Uttar Pradesh

Agra: Vishva Hindu Parishad’s (Bajrang Dal) youth wing is recruiting volunteers in Agra for reversing the process of ‘love jihad’ under the drive ‘Bahu Lao, Beti Bachao’.

Not only would volunteers get the training for their campaign but also will learn how to use a sword and other weapons, in case if a ‘need’ arises.

With a registration fee of Rs 10, any Hindu man can join this group to ‘save Hindu women from falling in love with Muslim men,’ quoted Mail Online.

Local Bajrang Dal members say Hindu women get ‘lured by some Muslim men in order to change their religion’.

Some Hindu groups were reportedly cited as saying that they will encourage Muslim women to marry Hindu men and would even help them to get married.

“We are in danger. This network is spreading from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. It’s time to wake up, otherwise our girls will be lured in the name of love, and they will be pushed into prostitution,” Abhishek Saxena, Bajrang Dal co-convener Agra, told India Today TV.

He further said that the drive targeted 2,00,000 men from Agra, and is hoping to get more from nearby places.
