VHP decides to fight against love jihad and cow smuggling, to recruit 5000 ‘religious soldiers’ in Aligarh

Aligarh: In order to fight against so-called love jihad and cow smuggling, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) decided to recruit 5,000 ‘religious soldiers’ in Aligarh.

According to the report published by Hindustan Times, ‘religious soldier’ will be recruited from among the Bajrang Dal activists. The responsibility of these ‘religious soldier’ is to fight against love jihad and cow smuggling. Other responsibilities include protection of Hindu girls, maths, temples.

It is also reported that the enrolment drive will be held in the month of September this year.

These decisions were taken in VHP meeting held from 14th to 16th July in Aligarh. This meeting was also attended by VHP President, Pravin Togadia.

Talking to media, Ram Kumar Arya, Sectional Chief said that 5000 ‘religious soldiers’ will be recruited at Aligarh district to fight against love jihad and cow smuggling.
