Activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Cow Protection Samithi here on Sunday intercepted a DCM van, which was transporting some 30 cows and calves from Siddipet of Medak district to the Erragadda in Sanathnagar.
The activists called the police and handed over the animals. The police have registered a case under anti-Cow Slaughter Act and took the driver of the DCM van into custody. (NSS)
