Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V. Hanumanth Rao on Monday said they would extend support to former PCC president D. Srinivas if he was made chief minister of Telangana State.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Hanumanth Rao said he was being pressurized by his supporters to contest Assembly election from Amberpet. He said he would obey whatever Congress president Sonia Gandhi directs him to do. He also said he would meet the family members of Telangana martyrs on March 19 and elicit their problems and do the needful. (NSS)
