Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumanth Rao has demanded that the State Government take back the lands allotted to former chief minister late Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s son-in-law Christian preacher Bro. Anil Kumar at Manikonda and restore them to the land owners.
On Tuesday, Hanumantha Rao, along with the alleged victims of Bro. Anil Kumar lodged a complaint with the Ranga Reddy district deputy collector urging him to order an inquiry into the land issue.
Speaking on the occasion, Hanumanth Rao said no true Christian would construct a church in a disputed land. He said the Congress Government should take back the lands and hand them over to the victims. He said he would meet Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in this regard to render justice to the victims.
