VH resents govt’s hostile attitude towards land losers

Congress senior leader V Hanumanth Rao today expressed anger at the Telangana government for adopting “indifferent attitude” towards the farmers, who lost their lands under Mallannasagar project. VH staged “Mouna Deeksha” at Assembly on Friday extending support to the land losers.

Speaking to the media before his Deeksha, VH alleged that the state government was behaving atrociously towards Mallannasagar land losers. He said that he was expressing his protest demanding the government to do justice to the land losers in Mallannasagar project.

VH also reacted on the destruction of temples at Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu destroying the temples in the name of Krishna Pushkaralu playing with the sentiments of people. He sarcastically said that following Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao too destroy historical Charminar stating that it become very old.

Attending VH Deeksha, MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy said that it was not proper to Chandrababu Naidu to destroy the temples as he wished. He congratulated Hyderabad police for reacting in time to obstruct the ISIS terrorists’ act. (NSS)
