Rajya Sabha member and Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has said that he will remain loyal to the Congress party and Gandhi family for his entire life. VH met AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi and her family members on Saturday. On the occasion, VH thanked Sonia Gandhi for giving an opportunity to represent Rajya Sabhe for three terms.
Speaking to the media later, VH said he will perform sincerely whatever the position given by the party. He said that he will strive to take the Phule and Ambedkar ideals to the people. He said that he will wage war for OBC reservations. The Congress failed to take the fact of giving separate Telangana State to the people, he said, adding even Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao knew this fact.
VH opined that the TRS party will not get public support in future as what it was getting now. He exuded confidence that the leaders would strive to bring the Congress party into power in 2019 in the Telangana State. (NSS)
