Senior Congress leader and former member of Rajya Sabha here on Wednesday took objection to the Union Government asking ESL Narsimhan to continue as Governor of Telangana and AP States after expiry of the latter’s term.
Speaking to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Hanumanth Rao said he would dash off a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh against the continuance of Narsimhan as Governor of the two Telugu States. He also observed that the two Telugu States would not get justice as long as Narasimhan remains Governor.
Pointing out that AICC general secretary in-charge of Telugu States Digvijaya Singh stood by his charge against the Telangana police and was ready to prove his allegations, Hanumanth Rao suggested to the State government to conduct an inquiry over Singh’s charge. (NSS)
