Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Tuesday found fault with Governor ESL Narasimhan describing Telangana TDP leader A Revanth Reddy as a ‘daring person’.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, VH wondered why the Governor was praising Revanth Reddy, who was involved in the infamous ‘cash-for-vote’ case. Questioning the Governor whether the latter was not in a position to see the suicides of hundreds of farmers in the State, VH said the Governor has failed to direct the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to extend help to the farmers.
It may be recalled that the Governor on Monday told the TTDP leaders, who met him at Raj Bhavan that the rule under his regime was corrupt-free and the works were done in a speedy manner. (NSS)
